Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience within manufacturing engineering, with a strong background in process optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes (Plasma cutting, Fabrication, machining, Painting, Assembly), lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset towards achieving business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software are advantageous.

Key Responsibilites

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Manufacturing Engineering Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient production processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective utilization of resources within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in implementing engineering solutions that optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
    • Provide guidance and support to engineers in problem-solving, project execution, and professional development.
  2. Process Optimization and Improvement:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D departments to streamline processes and resolve manufacturing issues.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Allocate resources effectively and prioritize projects based on strategic importance and impact on manufacturing operations.
